A Rant: Why are people saying that the war in Afghanistan is "Obama's Vietnam." As our leader he is just trying to fix a war that George Bush started. BWAAAAAA!!!!

I started working as a Para Substitute for the Waconia School District. I worked in the high school yesterday and worked today in one of the elementary schools. I will work until Friday. It has been nice to meet more people that I won't remember their names.

Yesterday I rescued a bat.

He was on the sidewalk at the high school when we were having a fire drill. I think someone stepped on it or it was rabid, I don't know, but I kept moving it with my water bottle. It got mad at the water bottle and was making its little echo chittering sound. Finally it flew onto the wall of the school. He was actually cute.

I went to a "kick-off assembly" for the school fundraiser. What a crock of sh**. Getting the kids all hyped up to sell, sell, sell so they can win stoopid prizes. The class that sells the most cookie dough gets to make their principal into a human ice cream sundae. Yuck.

I am also not sure why people get so bent out of shape, stop coming to church because they were hurt by someone else and like to cause chaos within. Let's just all get along!!! Especially when a cute Relief Society President is just doing her calling and trying to love all the sisters and help them. Knock it off, Mean People!!!

Dara is trying out for the 4th Grade Choir tomorrow. She has a beautiful voice. I hope it goes well.

Kelly just got back from Chicago. He did not get to go site seeing.

That was a precise list of all that's happening in your life! I couldn't agree with you more on the war, kick off assemblies and people being so touchy! You should tell them to try the church in Utah! lol Good luck to Dara, and sorry Kelly didn't get to sight see i LOVE Chicago!

One question? Did you get out of the wrong side of the bed? :)

I like that you have used a curse word and talking about going to church in the same post. Your family must be from a small town in Southern Utah.
