Shtuff

No, Kelly was not Jesus for Halloween this year. But that costume will be forever in the Amott's Weird History.

Cherran, I really am going to miss our Anonymous game. It was fun. When am I visiting Utah? HMMMMM? I have no response for that. My mom, sisters and sister-in-law planned an outing to Gardner Village and before they went my Sis-in-law, Ruth, dreamt that I showed up at Garnder Village and she was the only one surprised to see me there. Then, in real life, when they went they kept expecting to see me. They are so sweet and funny and I missed going with them.

I grew up in Utah. I have never been on a pair of skis. But I have seen the ski resorts in Utah. You drive UP into the mountains and the resorts are IN the mountains. We drove past one of the ski resorts in MN. A HILL. A hill with snow making machines making snow. I do have to say it was one of the larger hills I have seen around here, but it was a HILL. So funny. But you do what you have to do.

Thank you to those who miss me. I miss you. It is so fun to look at your blogs and see what you are doing and how you or or children have changed. Happy Thanksgiving. Be grateful. Find joy and peace.

"Gratitude. More aware of what you have than what you don't. Recognizing the treasure is simple--a child's hug, fertile soil, a golden sunset." Max Lucado

The sunsets here are so incredible. Yesterday it was fire pink. The sky is just huge....from one horizon to the other. I am grateful for my family in Utah because they still love us even though we moved away. I am grateful to my family here because they are so funny. Example: Dara, tired of being told by Brannon that her blanket smelled like stinky feet said to him in a very snarky tone, "YOU smell like feet." I am grateful for the sun. I am grateful for friends because everyone needs at least 10 really wonderful people in their life. I am grateful for my mom and dad. They gave me life, love, laughter and they love my children (plus they put up with Kelly and me). I am grateful for my house and my view..."Thank you God. But what did I do to deserve this?" I am also grateful that gas is now $1.68 a gallon! That alone is something to be grateful about. George Clooney. We just saw Leatherheads, the movie. Funny and how cute is George!!!
