Lisa, you asked what I have been up to all summer. You asked, so here it is:
Project-wise (in the true sense of the word) I am rushing to finish some frames for my stairwell (4 total 11x14 w/ pics of the girls taken on various vacays). And, one other frame for M's Wicked poster she got for her b-day. In fact, after this blog break I'm going out to sand. I plan to "cram" all weekend so I can finish by next weekend before school starts.
Russ recently tiled the entry-way & we have (as with every summer) spent some time fine tuning the yard.
Nothing major really. Mostly we have played with the T-Cousins, my mom & other family/friends. Also, I have been brushing up on my algebra so when I take it spring semester I do well the first time out and don't have to retake.
We had Russ' summer work party at our house a couple weeks ago & we spent a good week working our fannies off and cleaning our house/yard from top to bottom. Totally exhausting, but the party was a blast and now my house is "spring" clean - well worth the effort.
That's it, nothing too strenuous. Yet this summer has FLOWN faster than any other. I think a lot of it for me is knowing that life will change here in less than two weeks & that my "free' time will greatly diminish. So, I'm trying to pack a lot into this time.
