Do people really talk in Minnesota like they do in the movie "Fargo"? Well, the Minnesotans would say definitely not. However, I have heard some very strong Norwegian and Swedish accents down where we live. It depends upon where you grow up. The more up north you get, the more fun the accent.

I have been told that I have an accent. I don't know what it sounds like. The best was yesterday by a woman who is british. She is very cute and said that she and I both have non-minnesotan accents.

People here to say, "Ya, you betcha."

I'd love to hear your accent! We always pick up the accent when we go to North Dakota. Within hours we're talking funny. And my Wyoming accent mixed with a North Dakota accent is a treat, let me tell ya!

Do they say, "Ah, so!" and "Uff-da!" like they do in North Dakota?
