Police Blotter

Theft on August 3 in Corcoran. Police responded to a theft in progress. A woman was reported to haver loaded her vehicle with plants and driven away. The police contacted the woman and determined that she had paid for the plants and was merely coming back for a second pickup.

Nuisnance on August 7 in Independence. A caller complained about a propeller-driven cart on a parachute flying low and bothering horses.

In Shorewood on August 4 a resident reported that he found women's clothing hanging from a tree limb in his yard.
